“This rich, dense, rewarding album offers further proof of Bowie’s impeccably excellent taste.” - Uncut

Described by Chick Corea as a “musical universe”, Brooklynite Jason Lindner is a former metalhead turned avant-jazz keyboard wizard whose stellar list of credits includes Bowie’s epitaph album, Blackstar. Mostly composed on an antique Wurlitzer hooked up to sound-squelching guitar pedals, Lindner’s latest collection with his Now Vs Now trio is a kaleidescopic melange of hybrid styles, from the analogue doomtronica of “400 PPM” to the fervish tropical-prog jam “Pergamos”. Meanwhile, the sublime “Glimmer” sounds like a drunken Radiohead jamming on toy instruments at the bottom of a swimming pool. This rich, dense, rewarding album offers further proof of Bowie’s impeccable excellent taste. — Stephen Dalton, UNCUT
